Description:
The NYS Office of Victim Services has an agency advocacy program that assists victims with compensaton, information and referalls. The program has advocates in each of their three offices: Albany, Brookly and Buffalo. The interns assigned to this program area will be trained in the area of victim advocacy and will be given the tools necessary to assist victims by providing general information regarding the services and compensation available. They will also assist in gathering information from compensaton claimants. Interns are being recruited for all three locations.
