Description:
The Office of Human Resources and Administrative Planning oversees all programs and policies relating to employment of Department of Civil Service personnel. Responsibilities include recruitment and selection of qualified candidates to maintain the Department's workforce at a level sufficient to fulfill the Department's mission; administration of employee benefits; employee evaluation programs; training programs; labor relations; classification and compensation; attendance and leave; administrative analysis; internal control; and business continuity according to the plans, policies and objectives established by Management and provisions of the Civil Service Law and Rules and Regulations.
An intern would assist with the preparation and analysis of the Department's annual Internal Control Review; the transition of the Department's employee training records to the new Statewide Learning Management System; and the multiple daily tasks performed in a human resources setting.
